First coat

I prepped the surface by soaking a clean rag with the paint thinner (which contains 100% mineral spirits) and wiping down the hood. After it evaporated, I got a tack cloth and started to paint. The paint itself has to be thinned down to allow it to "flatten" out properly. Well, either I added too much or too little this is what happened.
